Double Trouble for two solo violas and small ensemble

(2001-02)

This is a three movement chamber concerto for two violas and small ensemble. It was composed for violist Ellen Ruth Rose. There is perhaps no piece of mine from when I was really getting back into composing regularly that I “turned a corner” in my creative point of view than with this piece. Somehow, I was able to audiate in ways I never had been able to before, and as a result, was able to imagine no sounds and forms that were previously inconceivable.

I - Obsessive Compulsive

II - Double

III - Spazoid

Should you purchase this work, I will email you the full three movements once your sale has been made.
